From June 13 to 15, Bob Harvey, Mayor of Waitakere and Honorary Citizen of Ningbo, paid a visit to Ningbo. On June 13, Bayin Chaolu, Secretary of the CPC Ningbo Committee met with Mayor Harvey. Wang Jianbo, Secretary General of the CPC Ningbo Committee, attended the meeting.

Bayin Chaolu extended his warm welcome to the guests and made positive comments on Mayor Harvey’s efforts to improve the friendly relationship between Ningbo and Waitakere. The two cities have been the sister cities for over one decade. The two sides have gained many achievements on cooperation in various fields, especially in education and culture. Bayin believed that the current visit of Mayor Harvey would further push on the friendly relations and Ningbo is willing to deepen the exchange and cooperation with Waitakere. Mayor Harvey hailed the achievements and the broad prospects for cooperation between the two sides.

Mayor Harvey also visited Ningbo Museum and Tianyi Pavilion during his stay in Ningbo.
