6月5日下午，由宁波市外办与英国诺丁汉大学共同举办的宁波市与英国诺丁汉市疫情防控及经济社会秩序恢复视频交流会在宁波诺丁汉大学举行。宁波抗疫经验通过网络“漂”向万里之外的友好城市，筑起一座抗疫连心桥。

Friday 5 June: A little over two months into recovery from the COVID-19 lockdown, the city of Ningbo shared its experience in restarting economic and social activities with the city of Nottingham during a video conference call held at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC).

市卫健委、市发改委、市商务局、市教育局等部门负责人详细介绍了宁波在疫情防控及复工复产复学等方面的做法。

High level government officials from various department - including the health commission, development and reform commission, bureau of commerce, and education bureau - attended the online meeting, during which the city of Ningbo shared its practices in COVID-19 prevention and control, as well as its experience in restoring business operations, boosting consumers' confidence, and the phased approach to reopen schools.

在听取宁波的抗疫经验后，诺丁汉市发展事务主管克里斯·亨宁表示感谢。他说，诺丁汉市和宁波的友好城市关系源于宁波诺丁汉大学，去年更是被评为发展最好、最活跃的中英两国城市关系之一。

After the sharing, Chris Henning, the Corporate Director for Development and Growth of the Nottingham city council, expressed his thanks. He commented that UNNC bears witness to the strong bond between the two cities which was highly-acclaimed for close exchanges and practical results.
