On September 10th, an enchanting musical collaboration took place at Ningbo's Tianran Theater, where traditional Chinese folk music harmonized with Korean folk melodies. This event marked the 10th anniversary of friendship between Ningbo and Daegu, Korea and was co-hosted by Ningbo's Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, and the Shanghai Representative Office of Daegu Metropolitan City Government. 

The performances were a beautiful blend of cultures. Ningbo's Cultural Center, Yinzhou Yue Opera Troupe, and Xiaoshi High School delivered captivating acts. Their pieces not only showcased the scenic beauty of southern China with elegant traditional Chinese folk music but also narrated the touching love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai through the graceful melodies of Yue Opera.

The Daegu band 必 So Good is renowned for seamlessly merging traditional Korean instruments with Western ones, contributing to the global promotion of Korean traditional music. 

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of friendship between the two cities, the concert held deep significance. Over the past decade, Ningbo and Daegu have forged productive exchanges in various fields including trade, education, and sports. Today, through the universal language of music, the hearts of the people in the two cities were closely connected. 

The event was attended by Mr. Ye Rongzhong, Party Secretary of the Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office, and Mr. Xu Leping, Deputy Director of the Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office.
