At the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Mr. Juan Manuel Moreno, President of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Spain, visited Ningbo on September 1 with a delegation of government officials and businessmen. The delegation inspected Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group and discussed matters on strengthening cooperation in the fields of port shipping and so on.

Mr. JIAO Shuanglin, Deputy Director-General of Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office, accompanied the delegation on the inspection.

Andalusia is an autonomous community located in the southern part of Spain, and its capital city is Seville. The Port of Algeciras belonging to this region is located near the Strait of Gibraltar, a narrow strait connecting the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea.
