At the invitation of relevant China-invested enterprises, Prof. Khalid Abdel El-Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population in Egypt, visited Ningbo with his delegation on September 21. The delegation visited Ningbo Clinical Pathology Diagnosis Center and Ningbo Runyes Medical Instrument Company, gained an in-depth understanding of the Diagnosis Center's operation model, digital diagnosis technology, the R&D and production of dental medical equipment, and etc., and expressed their strong will to further enhance exchanges and cooperation in the medical and health sector.

Mr. JIAO Shuanglin, Deputy Director-General of Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office, accompanied the delegation on the visit.

Egypt is an important partner of China in international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. In recent years, Ningbo and Egypt have seen increasingly closer exchanges and cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, vocational education, healthcare and tourism, with new achievements continuously emerging.
