On March 4, Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office held a work meeting via video link with Department of Foreign Affairs of Hai Phong City, Vietnam. Both sides noted that exchanges between the two cities had become increasingly frequent since last year, further strengthening their friendship. They also discussed the exchange plans for this year. In the meeting, Mr. XU Leping, Deputy Director-General of Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office, outlined several proposed initiatives for Ningbo's exchanges and cooperation with Hai Phong City this year. He expressed hopes of enhancing personnel exchanges and promoting cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, tourism, culture and education. Ms. Pham Thi Bich Dung, Head of Department of Foreign Affairs of Hai Phong City, introduced her city's exchange plan, and invited the delegation from Ningbo to attended the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival held annually in Hai Phong City.
