On February 13, the 31st China-ASEAN Senior Officials' Consultation was successfully held in Ningbo. During the same period, Ningbo also hosted the event titled "ASEAN Senior Officials Visiting Ningbo." The delegation visited several key sites in succession, including Ningbo City Exhibition Hall, ZEEKR Smart Factory, Fotile Group, and Tianyige Museum. The visit aimed to showcase the city's unique charm and regional culture, as well as its latest achievements in economic and social development.

Mr. TANG Feifan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and Mayor of Ningbo, held a face-to-face meeting with ASEAN senior officials attending the event. He emphasized that Ningbo is not only a major global port city but also a key hub for China's opening-up, foreign trade, and manufacturing. From the ancient Maritime Silk Road to today's joint efforts under the Belt and Road Initiative, Ningbo and ASEAN countries have long enjoyed a close friendship and strong partnership. He expressed his hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to further deepen cultural exchanges, strengthen economic and trade cooperation, and enhance their longstanding ties.

Mr. Dato' Sri Amran Mohamed Zin, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) Leader of Malaysia, delivered a speech on behalf of the ASEAN senior officials attending the meeting. He noted that the China-ASEAN Senior Officials' Consultation is an important mechanism for dialogue and communication between China and the 10 ASEAN member states. All delegates were deeply impressed by Ningbo's meticulous preparations and the diverse range of activities arranged for the 31st Consultation. He expressed his gratitude for Ningbo's warm hospitality and emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation between Ningbo and ASEAN countries across various fields.

Ms. YE Miao, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ningbo Municipal Government and Director of the Administrative Committee of the Ningbo Economic and Technical Development Zone, attended the relevant events.
