From September 10 to 12, a delegation of 8 representatives of the Suncheon Federation of Trade Unions from South Korea, led by its Chairman, visited Ningbo. On the afternoon of September 10, Ms. BAO Xianping and Mr. XU Leping, respectively Director-General and Deputy Director-General of Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office, met with the delegation for discussions.

On the morning of September 11, the delegation visited the sports facilities of Wuyi Plaza as well as the Workers' Cultural Palace, and held a meeting with the Ningbo Federation of Trade Unions. During the meeting, the two sides had in-depth discussions on their respective organizational structures and guiding principles for serving workers. During their stay in Ningbo, the delegation also toured the Korean Embassy Site and the Tianyige Museum.

Suncheon is one of Ningbo's international friendly cooperative cities, and the two cities established this relationship in 1997. In recent years, Ningbo and Suncheon have conducted mutual visits and exchanges in the fields of the Standing Committee of Municipal People's Congress and the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions.
