From September 22 to 23, Mr. Koen Sizoo, the newly-appointed Consul General of the Netherlands in Shanghai, visited Ningbo with the enterprise delegation of Holland International Distribution Council (HIDC). Ms. YE Miao, Member of Party Leadership Group of Ningbo Municipal Government and Director of Administrative Committee of Ningbo Economic & Technical Development Zone, met with the delegation. Ms. BAO Xianping, Director-General of Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office, attended the meeting.

On the morning of September 23, the delegation attended the Netherlands - China (Zhejiang) Logistics Seminar held in Ningbo co-hosted by CCPIT Zhejiang Provincial Committee, Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Investment & Operation Group, Holland International Distribution Council (HIDC), and Port of Rotterdam Authority.

The Netherlands is an influential shipping and logistics powerhouse in Europe. In recent years, Ningbo and the Netherlands have continuously deepened exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, science and technology, transportation and logistics, planning and construction, low-carbon development and environmental protection.
